A 16-year-old girl was abducted by the accused in Shujaabad, Punjab, when she refused to have a relationship.
In Basti Khoja area of Shujaabad, the accused named Zeeshan kidnapped the bride from the marriage house with the help of his friends, and a case was registered.
The FIR stated that the accused wanted to marry a 16-year-old girl, and was angry at the family’s rejection, and as soon as he was found an opportunity, he entered the house with his accomplices and brandished guns.
The defendant mixed the drug in the milk of the house, after drinking it, 10 people disappeared including the girl who was abducted. The accused abducted the girl and took them away.
HELP: The marriage was not stopped despite the death of the bride
When the local residents informed the police, a heavy contingent of Raja Ram police station reached the spot and, starting legal proceedings, everyone was shifted to the General Hospital for first aid.
According to the FIR, the wedding date of two sisters including the abducted girl was fixed three days later. The police have now started an operation to recover the abducted girl and arrest the suspect.
