Islamabad: Former President Asif Ali Zardari and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman have met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif after the announcement of the election date in Punjab by the President.
According to the News, PDM leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman and former president Asif Ali Zardari arrived at the Prime Minister’s House and both leaders held an important meeting with Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif where they discussed the political situation of the country.
It should be noted that the President of the State has scheduled April 30 as an election in Punjab on the request of the Election Commission.
