New Delhi: On the arrest of the former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia in the case of Excise Policy, 9 leaders of the opposition, including Arvind Kejriwal, wrote a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, the movement shows that “we have changed from democracy to autocracy.” Please be advised that on Saturday, the court sent Sisodia to CBI custody till March 6. Since Sisodia’s arrest, opposition leaders have protested across the country.

On February 26, Sisodia was arrested in the computer hacking case. He should remain in the CBI until Monday as of March 6. On March 10 he will hear his plea back at the Rouse Avenue Court.
Opposition leaders wrote a letter to PM Modi, including Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, National Conference leader and Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chief Sharad Pawar, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and Samajwadi Party (SP) president of the country and former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav.
