Nashik: The Tree Management Department of the Nashik Municipal Corporation has several times taken action against illegal felling of trees in Nashik City. A case has been registered against four people for cutting two trees named Kashid and Gulmohar without permission in Nirmal Colony behind Shri Guruji Hospital under Anandwali division of the part of Satpur. A case has been registered against land owners Mahesh Mirji, Kiran Vasave, Anand Bendkule, Eknath Bendkuli at Gangapur police station.
