He visited Nullah Lai in Gwalmandi where he was briefed about the Nullah Lai Expressway project.
The Commissioner said that the Lai Expressway is an important project for the city because it will not only help to solve the problem of traffic congestion but it is a very important project for the city to avoid damage to the Nullah Lai.
The Commissioner was informed that due to the delay in the Nullah Lai project since 2017, the cost of the project has increased from Rs 17 billion to Rs 60 billion.
He directed the RDA to resolve the issues facing the launch of the project within a short period of time so that the construction work of the project can begin. long awaited.
All kinds of interference from both sides of the Nullah Lai should also be removed, he added.
The blockage in the canals affects the flow of water which can lead to floods during the rainy season, he added, the Water and Sanitation Office should hire a private company to manage the discharge of water. waste in Nullah Lai.

The Commissioner reviewed the transport plan in detail during his visit to Kutchery Chowk.
The Commissioner ordered the authorities involved to immediately call a meeting of stakeholders to confirm the plan of the management of motor vehicles for the period of the construction of the flyover so that the works of the project can begin.
These projects of public use should be started as soon as possible and completed within the scheduled period, he added.
